Product Description

Microsilica (other name: amorphous silica fume)

Microsilica, also known as Silica fume, is a byproduct of producing silicon metal or ferrosilicon alloys. Microsilica consists primarily of amorphous (non-crystalline) silicon dioxide (SiO2). The individual particles are extremely small, approximately 1/100th the size of an average cement particle. Because of its fine particles, large surface area, and the high SiO2 content, silica fume is a very reactive pozzolan when used in concrete.

WHY US?

The main manufacturing base for silicon metal and ferrosilicon in China is centralized in North of Ningxia Province and contiguous Erdos and Wuhai cities of Inner Mongolia province. We invested the densifying facilities in local giant ferrosilicon and silicon metal factories individually while directly used their raw materials by connecting densifying silos to baghouses (amorphous silica fume generating facility) to produce 88%-94% densified microsilica. Due to SiO2 content is below 80%, huge amount of amorphous silica fume (raw materials) generated by local ferrosilicon factories can’t be used. At same time we’ve almost controlled all of local superior raw materials to ensure the output of 2000MTS per month at least.

Also, we’ve specialized the silos to produce granular densified microsilica, fine powder densified microsilica and extremely fine undensified/half-densified microsilica for refractory industry. Color can be customized based on pre-choosing corresponding raw materials.

We can supply customized products with superior price performance.
